About the Program
Elevate your potential and build a professional community as you address the world's wicked problems in this program that has it all: relevant and interesting classes, optional internship or directed research, plus the option to enroll in a class of your choosing with one of our partner universities in London. Designed specifically for life science students, the program core course concludes with an IFSA-exclusive professional competency certificate issued by The Leadership Edge, a leading talent development firm specializing in the life sciences. Complete all of this in cosmopolitan London, where there are so many things to do and see!

Academics
In addition to the IFSA core class, enroll in one direct-enroll class at Queen Mary University or City University of London (AACSB-accredited). Some popular options are listed below, but you will have access to any class available to visiting students. Then, enroll in IFSA elective classes to complete your schedule. One of those classes may include a credit-bearing internship or directed research.

Beyond the Lab: Leadership in the Life Sciences

Designed for science majors interested in bringing together your desire for a purpose-driven career with your academic pursuits, this class combines an overview of the business of life sciences, from innovation to commercialization, along with active learning opportunities to develop key skills and competencies employers seek in highly valued employees. Through industry exposure, case studies, and hands-on experiences, you will learn how successful leaders lead, how companies structure teams, and how strong interpersonal relationships serve as accelerators for groundbreaking science. Students who successfully complete this class will receive an IFSA exclusive certificate of completion from The Leadership Edge, one of the top talent management consulting firms to the life sciences industry.

Afford Your Journey
Grants, financial aid, credit card payments and more are available. IFSA scholarships are primarily need-based and factor in any additional cost your study abroad program might have over home school tuition. The awards are $500 for summer programs, $1,500 for semester programs, and $2,500 for full year programs. These scholarships may apply to any IFSA program, with the exception of our custom programs.
